Toronto Blue Jays - The Bluebirds continued there hitless ways stranding 13 runners last night including leaving the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th. Bases were loaded with 0 out and not a single run was produced. Gotta bring those runners home if you want to win games boys.
Dontrelle Willis - 0-1 10.32 ERA and 5 K’s to 21 BBs in 11.1 IPs all this at the price tage of $9.6 million a season. Hope the Tigers kept the receipt for this one.
Roger Federer - Roger Federer proved again this week that he cannot beat Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros where Nadal is 28-0 lifetime. The worlds #1 was beat 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 and never threatened Nadal who made it look easy. Hopefully next year Nadal will back out and let Federer win one so he can complete his career Grand Slam.
Luc Bourdon - In sad news Luc Bourdon the Canucks young star defensemen was killed tragically last week in a motorcycle accident. He was a great player and was well on his way to becoming a superstar in the NHL. He will be sorely missed by friends, family, and hockey fans all over the world. RIP.

Single Season Sack King Calls it Quits - In the NFL Michael Strahan retired on Tuesday. The single season sack king and all around nice guy Strahan will be sorely missed by Giants fans who loved his work ethic and media friendly personality.
The Dominator - Dominik Hasek also retired on Tuesday and will leave the game as one of the top 5 goalies of all time in my opinion. 81 shutouts, 2 Hart Trohpys, 6 Vezinas, 2 Lester B Pearson Awards, 5 time All-Star, 3 time William Jennings Bryan Award winner, and 2 Stanley Cups. Not to mention countless highlight reel saves and the fact he revolutionized the posistion.
Griffey Hits 600 - Ken Girffey Jr. hit his 600th career homerun last night making him only the 6th man in MLB history to do so. He joins the likes of Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, Babe Ruth, Sammy Sosa, and Willie Mays. While this is a great accomplishment it highlights what could have been for Griffey as he was on pace to break every homerun record before injuries set in and he was traded to the Reds where careers go to die. Griffey will always be my favorite player of all time and is still my pick to win the Triple Crown every year.
NBA Finals - So far the series has been what everyone hoped for, quality basketball that has been up tempo and very entertaining. These teams really deserve to be here and are showing it. As usualy Boston wins at home and now the Lakers need 2 in a row at the Staples Center. As much as I like Kobe the Celtics are just too good and I think this is gonna be their year. Celtics in 6.
Thats all for today if I think of any more I will post them for you.
